Grader Beginner Course

With Great Heavy Training School, you'll earn your grader ticket and valuable experience in the building and construction industry. The grader course is delivered by experienced trainers who have years of experience in the industry. This nationally recognised unit of competency comes with job assistance where possible.

Pre-requisites & Requirements

• Minimum 16 years of age
• 2 forms of Identification are essential
• Pass a language, literacy and numeracy assessment (LLN)
• Be mechanically minded with an interest in operating heavy machinery
• Wear steel capped or safety boots on site. Sun protection is also recommended (hat, long sleeves, and pants).

Course Details

Great Heavy Training School offers a grader operator training course. The course will give you the skills to operate a grader on a construction site. A successful student will receive a nationally recognised statement of attainment.

• A detailed training plan of the earthmoving industry
• Practical training recorded in a practical skills logbook
• Written and practical assessments conducted on completion of formal training
• All training materials, machinery and a hi-vis vest.
